Independent Contractor Opportunities

Information Discovery Services is seeking current Federally Certified Polygraph Examiners to assist on a large nationwide polygraph contract supporting a Department of Justice Customer. These are independent contractor (1099’s) opportunities. The Independent Contractor will administer NCCA approved Law Enforcement Pre-Employment Test (LEPET) polygraph examinations consistent with federal and client policies, practices, and procedures. The Independent Contractor will utilize testing techniques, formats, and forms, which have been approved and provided by the customer. Must be available to travel when required.

The self-employed Independent Contractor Site Inspector will conduct the site verification and screening process according to Medicare guidelines to prevent questionable providers and suppliers from enrolling in the Medicare program, focusing on providing a quality report in a timely manner to the IDS customer. Independent Contractor Site Inspector will be compensated on a completed item basis, not an hourly rate.

The Background Investigator will conduct public trust pre-employment background investigations for various Law Enforcement Agencies, focusing on providing a quality case report in a timely manner to the IDS customer. IDS is looking for Independent Contractor Investigators with at least 1 year investigative experience. This may be either as an intermittent employee or independent contractor. The Independent Contractor must have a current and valid TX Private Investigator’s License. Independent Contractor Background Investigators (1099) will be compensated on a completed item basis, not an hourly rate.

The self-employed Independent Contractor Background Investigator will conduct national security public trust pre-employment background investigations, focusing on providing a quality case report in a timely manner to the IDS customer. IDS is recruiting Independent Contractor Investigators with at least 1 year investigative experience. At least 1 year experience conducting federal background investigations for federal agencies such as DoD, DCSA, or DHS is preferred. Independent Contractor Background Investigators will be compensated on a completed item basis, not an hourly rate.

The Background Investigator will conduct national security public trust pre-employment background investigations, focusing on providing a quality case report in a timely manner to IDS and the federal customer. The Investigator must have prior experience conducting federal background investigations for the federal customer within the LAST THREE YEARS.
